The distributed fiber optic temperature monitoring test room is equipped with edge gateways, DC power supplies, switches, routers, analog data collectors RTU, etc. It is necessary to collect temperature data of key sensitive areas such as the computer room environment, computer room air conditioning equipment, and main equipment racks, for the purpose of presenting the computer room temperature on-site and constructing energy efficiency analysis models and dynamic simulations on the computer room efficiency analysis and dynamic simulation platform. In the experiment, the engineering implementation of the distributed fiber optic temperature measurement system mainly includes the installation of the host and the laying of temperature measurement fibers.
(1) Host installation: Taking into account the structure of the communication room and the convenience of equipment power supply, the distributed fiber optic temperature measurement host is installed in a wall mounted manner.
(2) Laying of temperature measuring optical fiber: The temperature measuring optical fiber adopts ordinary multimode optical fiber and the outer layer is marked every 0.5 meters for convenient fiber temperature measurement and positioning. The installation of temperature measuring optical fibers should cover all equipment cabinets and cable trays (racks) inside the computer room to achieve the most accurate temperature measurement and positioning.
Fiber optic cables can be laid one by one through the front or rear cabinet doors of the equipment cabinet, and some key sensitive areas can have fiber optic cables wrapped and pasted on their surfaces for temperature measurement. The installation of temperature measuring optical fibers requires strict requirements for the pulling and bending radius, and efforts should be made to avoid pulling and small radius bending as much as possible.
The distributed fiber optic temperature measurement system was experimentally validated in a certain communication room, and the collected data was uploaded in real time to the performance analysis and dynamic simulation platform of the communication room for internal distribution fitting display,
The distributed fiber optic temperature measurement system can provide high spatial resolution and real-time temperature data for performance analysis and dynamic simulation platforms.
By fully utilizing the characteristics of distributed continuous temperature measurement, high spatial resolution of temperature measurement, convenient installation, anti electromagnetic interference, and easy use and maintenance of fiber optic temperature sensors, it is proposed to use distributed fiber optic temperature measurement to achieve temperature detection in communication rooms, providing high-quality data for communication room efficiency analysis and dynamic simulation platforms. However, this method is still an attempt in the field of temperature monitoring in communication rooms, and can provide a reference temperature measurement method for subsequent communication room construction and planning design.
