- Pemantau Suhu dan Aras Minyak: Jejaki suhu minyak (kritikal untuk pengurusan beban) dan paras minyak (untuk mengesan kebocoran). Sudden temperature rises or level drops trigger alarms.
Insulation Monitoring Devices
- Pelepasan Separa (PD) Monitors: Detect partial discharges in insulation (cth., in windings or bushings) using sensors (ultrasonik, elektromagnet, or UHF). PD activity accelerates insulation aging, and early detection prevents catastrophic failures.

- Tank Pressure Monitors: Monitor the pressure inside the transformer tank. Sudden pressure spikes indicate severe internal faults (cth., mengarka), enabling rapid shutdown.
External Environment Monitoring Devices
- Ambient Temperature and Humidity Sensors: Track the environment around the transformer. High humidity combined with dust can lead to surface insulation issues, while extreme temperatures affect cooling efficiency.
- Security and Vibration Sensors: Detect unauthorized access, vandalism, or abnormal vibrations (indicating loose components or structural issues), enhancing overall transformer safety.
Communication and Integration Systems
Most online monitoring devices connect to a central SCADA (Kawalan Penyeliaan dan Pemerolehan Data) system or a dedicated transformer monitoring platform. Data is analyzed in real-time, with trends tracked to predict maintenance needs, enabling condition-based rather than scheduled maintenance.
